Mongolians will head to polling stations throughout the countries to vote for its next president today.
Three political parties seated in Parliament have nominated their candidates; Speaker of Parliament M.Enkhbold (Mongolian People's Party), former Minister of Agriculture and Industry Kh.Battulga (Democratic Party), and former legislator S.Ganbaatar (Mongolian People's Revolutionary Party).
The three candidates participated in a "debate" organized by the Mongolian National Broadcaster on Saturday evening, which drew criticisms for its Q&A format rather than candidates actually debating issues facing the country.
