Former presidents of Mongol Bank and Premiers of Mongolia gather for economic consultation Prime Minister of Mongolia J.Erdenebat, who took office at the beginning of July, Head of the Cabinet Secretariat J.Munkhbat, Finance Minister B.Choijilsuren, and President of Mongol Bank N.Bayartsaikhan held a meeting with all of Mongolia's former prime ministers and past presidents of Mongol Bank on Wednesday to get advice and exchange views on solutions for the current economic situation in Mongolia. Beginning the meeting, Prime Minister J.Erdenebat said, “The economy of Mongolia and the country’s budget and financial situation are in a difficult position. However, the government is developing a plan to get over the crisis, looking at the future optimistically. A plan will be presented to the public and Parliament soon.” He explained that he invited the former authorities to meet to learn from their wisdom and experience, and share positions on the current economic situation. During the meeting, Finance Minister B.Choijjilsuren and Mongol Bank President N.Bayartsaikhan delivered reports on the current state of Mongolia’s economy, budget, and finances, and the meeting attendees shared their views. The meeting's guests include former Prime Ministers D.Sodnom, Sh.Gungaadorj, and M.Enkhsaikhan; former Finance Ministers D.Davaasambuu, Ya.Ochirsukh, Ch.Ulaan, P.Tsagaan, and B.Batbayar; and former Presidents of Mongol Bank D.Molomjamts, J.Unenbat, and L.Purevdorj.
