The MESA Invitational 2024 tournament, organized by the Mongolian Esports Association (MESA), is taking place from December 10 to 15, with a prize pool of 100,000 USD for DOTA2.

Eight teams from Mongolia, Asia and Europe are gathered at the “ASA Arena” in Ulaanbaatar City. The tournament is featuring some of the world’s best teams, including “Team Secret” led by Clement “Puppey” Ivanov, “Aurora Gaming” led by Anucha “Jabz” Jirawong, “Talon Esports” led by Carlo “Kuku” Palad, and the newly formed yet strong “The MongolZ” team.

The tournament is divided into two groups, each consisting of four teams, with group stage matches following a Best of 2 (Bo2) format. The top three teams from each group will advance to the playoffs, which will follow a Best of 3 (Bo3) format.

The winning team will receive 50,000 USD, while second place will earn 25,000 USD, and third and fourth places will each receive 12,500 USD in prize money. This marks the first time an international DOTA2 competition featuring global teams has been held in Mongolia.
