Arbitration for Sport to cooperate with Sports Federations

The Mongolian International and National Arbitration for Sport (MINAS) signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation with around 30 sports federations and unions on March 2. MINAS was established in February 2017 and is collaborating with the International Olympics Committee, the International Court of Arbitration for Sport, the National Olympic Committee of Mongolia and sports federations with aims to support the youth for the Olympic movement and to develop physical education and sports. Within this effort, MINAS signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation with over 30 sports federations and unions, including the Mongolian Wrestling Federation and the Mongolian Sports Journalists Union. Arbitration for Sport is responsible for making truthful decisions regarding disagreements, misunderstandings, contract disputes between athletes, judges, sports committees, federations and clubs, and issues on purchasing athlete, legionary athlete as well as keeping equal rights and legal interests of parties at domestic and international competitions. All disputes related to sports will be discussed and resolved by the rule of MINAS. The main principle of MINAS is to resolve problems without any discrimination of region, race, age, gender, occupation, education, sports title, or net worth. Currently, MINAS has 23 arbiters and two of them are from China and Ukraine. Moreover, the organization commenced cooperation with Arbitrations for Sport of Japan, Singapore, Russia and China. MINAS is aiming to collaborate with the Court of Arbitration for Sport, select best arbiters of developed countries, train arbiters and establish branch arbiters in 21 provinces.
