According to sources close to him, the sixty-eight-year-old actor is planning to make a new film about Buddism, for which he is conducting research in Mongolia. The new film will tell a story of lama who brings his American friend in Mongolia. The rumor is that Richard Gere will direct the film. This is the fourth time the actor visited Mongolia. Previously, he visited in Mongolia in 1996, 2010 and 2014. In 2010, Gere came to participate in the international conference on Mongolian Buddhism.
