The Free Market Academy 2017 (FMA), a training on a free market and free society, was held from July 1 to 4. The event is annually organized by the Silk Road Foundation, which aims to promote the ideas of free market and free society in Mongolia.
This year, over 30 participants attended the four-day training to gain understanding about free market and free society from Ken Schoolland, an associate professor of economics at Hawaii Pacific University, a member of the Board of Directors for the Internation and Li Schoolland, the founder of TFT Events and economist.
The event also included lectures by Mongolia’s top libertarian representatives, including the director of Altan Taria LLC P.Tsenguun and CEO of the Silk Road Foundation M.Khaliunbat.This year, the foundation organized the third FMA with the support from the Atlas Network, which works to break down the barriers to prosperity and opportunity around the world.
