Khan-Uul District and the district’s Red Cross Committee organized an open house on Thursday for the homeless. As part of the community work, 65 adults and 42 children who live on the streets of the 16th khoroo were bathed, fed, and clothed. Reportedly, these people are unable to get health or social welfare services because they don’t have identification cards and necessary documents. Organizers decided to regularly carry out this type of community work for the homeless to prevent them from getting sick, ensure early detection of serious diseases, and enhance their health related knowledge.
