As of May 31, the growth of pasture plants was deficient in most parts of Bayan-Ulgii, Dornogovi, Dundgovi, Govi-Altai, Khovd, and Umnugovi provinces. On the other hand, the growth of pasture plants were normal in most soums of Bulgan, Darkhan-Uul, Dornod, Khentii, Khuvsgul, Orkhon, Selenge, and Tuv provinces, some soums of Arkhangai, Bayankhongor, Bayan-Ulgii, Govi-Altai, Sukhbaatar, Uvurkhangai, Uvs, and Zavkhan provinces, and few soums of Arkhangai and Umnugovi provinces. Therefore, the pasture plant growth in half of the region or about 50 percent of the whole area was normal. 

Moreover, the National Agency Meteorology and the Environmental Monitoring informed that the plant had not grown in 10 percent of the whole territory as of April 30. 

In recent days, the temperature in most areas was 1.2-5.2 degrees warmer than the average for many years. The rainfall was above the average for 60 percent of the region, in western and Gobi provinces or in more than 30 percent of the country, the rainfall was lower than the average, and in the rest area, it was likely to be close to the average.

The wind temporarily reached 18-23 meters per second or the dangerous level in the plains and mountainous areas. Also, it reached 24-27 meters per second in Umnugovi soum of Uvs Province, Zavkhan Province, Bogd soum of Bayankhongor Province, and Batnorov soum of Khentii Province.
