The Emergency Department of the Children’s Hospital of the National Center for Maternal and Child Health Center (NMCHC) has been fully renovated and is ready for use. For the first time since its establishment after 35 years, it has undergone such a comprehensive renovation, and the air conditioning system, plumbing network, electricity and communication alarms are renewed. In addition, an oxygen apparatus was installed in the waiting room, and the bathroom was prepared in order to facilitate the provision of assistance and services in case of gas poisoning and mass poisoning. Also, in case of the arrival of a child with symptoms of highly infectious disease, workers at the hospital are prepared to immediately take the child to the isolation room.

Mother and child referral services are provided at the NMCHC with 55 wards. As part of the goal of providing customer-centered health care and services, the hospital is focusing on increasing the number of doctors and specialists, and 24 hours a day operation. 250-500 children visit the Children’s Hospital every day, and the hospital provides internal and surgical care and services for children.
