1,500 Mongolians permitted entry to South Korea under government employment contract

The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection is giving 1,500 people the chance to establish employment contracts and work in South Korea, agreed to under a memorandum signed by the Government of Mongolia and South Korea’s Ministry of Employment and Labor Those interested in the offer can apply for the work program at the ministry’s headquarters. Korean language proficiency tests will be administered at district and provincial labor departments on March 6, 7, and 9, scheduled to take place from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 39, have basic Korean language speaking and reading skills, and must not have a criminal record or have been deported from South Korea in the past.
