The National University of Mongolia (NUM) has officially opened an IELTS testing center within its School of Sciences, following authorization from the British Council. This marks a new addition to the university’s language testing services, which already includes the Test of Mongolian as a Foreign Language (TOMFL) center established in February of last year.

The IELTS center provides a dedicated space equipped with modern facilities that meet international testing standards. It offers individuals planning to study, work, or immigrate to English-speaking countries the opportunity to take the IELTS exam in a professional environment, without delays or the need to travel abroad.

The first test session at the NUM IELTS center is scheduled for April 20. Candidates are required to register online and pay the test fee of 841,000 MNT. One week after completing payment, registration is confirmed, and participants receive information about their exam schedule and related details via email.

By launching this center, NUM aims to increase local access to internationally recognized English proficiency testing and support students and professionals preparing for opportunities abroad.
