The Mongolian delegation, led by L.Gantumur, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Development of Mongolia, participated in the Boao Forum for Asia, taking place from March 25-28 in Boao, Hainan Province, China.
During the Forum, an official meeting was held between L.Gantumur and Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang of the State Council of the People's Republic of China. The two leaders discussed the importance of strengthening the bilateral relationship and expressed their mutual commitment to fostering cooperation between Mongolia and China.
Deputy Prime Minister L.Gantumur outlined several key areas of potential collaboration, proposing initiatives aimed at improving border connectivity, stabilizing exports, and accelerating the trilateral economic corridor project. He also emphasized the need to advance cooperation in the energy and industrial sectors, as well as in emerging fields like artificial intelligence and the development of science parks.
In response, Vice Premier Xuexiang welcomed these proposals, highlighting that initiatives benefiting the people of both nations would be fully supported. He also reaffirmed China's commitment to working alongside Mongolia for green development, leveraging the economic advantages that come with being neighboring countries.
