Three Mongolian girls competed in the Little Miss World 2017, which was organized in Thessaloniki, Greece from September 24 to 30. Participant S.Amirlan was awarded Tiny Little Miss World prize at the Little Miss World 2017, while E.Michidmaa won the bronze crown in the 10 to 12 years of age category. E.Michidmaa also received the Best Traditional Costume and Fashion Star awards. Another participant of Mongolia E.Sansarmaa won the Fashion Star award of 13 to 15 years of age category. A total of 80 little princesses and princes from 60 countries competed in the pageant. S.Amirlan, E.Michidmaa and E.Sansarmaa were selected from the Princess Miss Mongolia 2017 in August. International children’s festival Little Miss World was established in 2000 with the aim of forming a new nation of talented, educated, and friendly children. Representatives from all over the world gather for the annual children’s festival to strengthen the friendly ties between their countries, to meet the world’s cultural heritage and to show their talents.
