PRESIDENT KH.BATTULGA PRESENTS BELTS TO YOUNG JUDOKAS

The belt handing ceremony of the Mongolian Judo Academy of the Mongolian Judo Association took place on August 1 at the Central Sports Palace. Founder of the Mongolian Judo Academy and President of Mongolia Kh.Battulga presented yellow, orange, green, blue and brown belts and certificates to 66 young judokas studying at the academy. President Kh.Battulga said, “The Mongolian Judo Academy was established in 2009. I founded the academy in order to teach patience and perseverance to children and youth, improve their physical development, and help them spend their free time in a sports hall, not a cyber environment. Today I am participating in the belt handing ceremony and I am very happy. Good luck teachers and children of the academy.” Secretary-general of the Mongolian Judo Association and Olympic-class referee M.Bukhbat, director of the Peace Commission of the International Judo Federation Nicolas Messner, Olympic champion and three-time world champion Ilias Iliadis of Grees, and notable Mongolian athletes and coaches attended the ceremony. After the ceremony, nine-year-old B.Ochirbat, who was presented with a belt, said, “I have been studying in the academy for five months. I did a lot of exercises while I was studying. I chose this sport myself. My parents supported me, which helped me spend my free time effectively. I will keep studying here.” MPA PHOTO 2017 -8984-120755-1049505146 MPA PHOTO 2017 -8909-120852-1950832279 MPA PHOTO 2017 -9140-120804-2146440027
