The Ambassador of the Republic of Poland is hosting a Polish film festival with a visit from director Krzysztof Zanussi, from May 8 to 11, at iCinema at State Department Store.
During his stay in Mongolia, Zanussi will lead a special workshop for Mongolian filmmakers. Five of Zanussi's films, “The Foreign Body” (2014), “Camouflage” (1977), “Our God’s Brother” (1997), “Persona Non Grata” (2005), and “Life for a Life” (1990), will be screened for the festival.
Krzysztof Zanussi won the Jury Prize at the 1980 Cannes Film Festival for “The Constant Factor”, the Golden St. George at the 22nd Moscow International Film Festival for “Life as a Fatal Sexually Transmitted Disease”, the International Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI) Special Mention Award at the 24th Moscow International Film Festival, and the Lifetime Achievement award at the 43rd International Film Festival of India.
