On December 21, the 60th anniversary of the Mongolian National Olympic Committee (MNOC) was celebrated at The Corporate Hotel and Convention Center. President Ts.Elbegdorj extended greetings to the attendees. Human Development and Social Policy Advisor to the President of Mongolia R.Bold passed on the president’s greetings. In his greetings, Ts.Elbegdorj wrote, “I would like to extend my warmest greetings to all of you. The MNOC represents Mongolian sports activities to the world, and it has already been 60 years since its establishment. During these past 60 years, the MNOC became an accredited member of the International Olympic Committee, and promoted Mongolian athletes and their power, dignity and pride to the world of sports. Mongolian athletes started competing in the Olympics in 1964. Since then, Mongolian athletes have brought two gold, 10 silver and 14 bronze medals home. They also won hundreds of medals from world and Asian championships. The MNOC achieved this success along with athletes, and the MNOC should be proud of this. I wish you all more success.”
