The Pepsi Futsal League, which started on January 9, concluded on March 27. The tournament was organized by the Mongolian Football Federation.
The top 12 football teams of Mongolia, including Arvis FC, Continental FC, Bayangol FC, Khoromkhon FC and Erchim FC, competed in the Pepsi Futsal League.
Ulaanbaataryn Unaganuud FC, coached by S.Erdene-Ochir and led by P.Altantulga, won the tournament’s cup and eight million MNT in prize money.
Khangarid FC seized a silver medal and six million MNT. Khangarid FC didn’t lose until the final match against Ulaanbaataryn Unaganuud FC.
The third place, and its accompanying four million MNT prize, went to Khoromkhon FC. The team faced off Bayangol FC in the bronze medal match, and Khoromkhon claimed a victory with a final score of 13:6.
Executive director of the Mongolian Football Federation Sh.Jargalsaikhan, head of marketing department of GN Beverages LLC E.Enkhjin, director of NTV A.Bayarbat, and vice director of Optimus International LLC Dulguuntamir handed prizes to the winners.
Goalkeeper of Ulaanbaataryn Unaganuud FC N.Chantsal was awarded the Best Goalkeeper prize. Ulaanbaataryn Unaganuud FC scored a total of 105 goals throughout the duration of the tournament.
Khoromkhon FC striker N.Naranbold became the Top Scorer of the tournament.
A.Erdenebayar of Khabgarid FC was awarded the Man of the League prize.
At the closing ceremony, some athletes were given the Sports Master title. These athletes include S.Gankhuyag (Khangarid FC), Ts.Munkh-Erdene (Khangarid FC), S.Gal-Erdene (Erchim FC), T.Munkhbaatar (Erchim FC) and A.Khongorzul (Ulaanbaataryn Mazaalainuud FC).
President of the Mongolian Football Federation A.Ganbaatar closed the Pepsi League and said, “I want to congratulate all of you. I also want to express my gratitude to sponsors of the Pepsi League GN Beverages LLC, Pepsi Mongolia, and NTV. I am hoping that our cooperation will continue in the future.”
