Mongolia captures nine medals at World Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championships 2016

Mongolian bodybuilding and fitness athletes in the 8th World Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championships and won three gold, two silver and four bronze medals. A bodybuilding and fitness team comprised of 10 male and six female athletes are competed from Mongolia at the 2016 World Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championships, which concluded in Pattaya, Thailand on December 4. A.Ichinnorov won a gold medal in the women’s fitness physique up to 160 cm category of the championship and became world champion. G.Ugalztsetseg of Mongolia won a gold medal in the women’s athletic physique up to 165 cm category. She also won a gold medal from 7th World Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championships. G.Ugalztsetseg in the middle G.Ugalztsetseg in the middle[/caption] Athlete N.Chinzorig won a silver in the men's bodybuilding category, while Tuvshinbayar seized another silver medal in the men's model physique category. Mongolian athlete B.Badamsuren won a bronze medal in the women’s fitness category. Bodybuilder L.Saruulbat, who competed in the 70 kg men’s bodybuilding category, snatched another bronze medal for Mongolia. G.Jamts also won a bronze medal in the 75 kg men's bodybuilding category and Dulamragchaa captured a bronze medal in the master's category for men. More than 600 athletes from 59 countries competed in 36 categories of the championships. The Mongolian team took part in bodybuilding, athletic, fitness, model and sport model categories. Mongolian team will land at Chinggis Khaan International Airport on December 6 at 6:00 p.m.
