Asian cycling champion B.Maral-Erdene has won a silver medal in the seventh World
University Cycling Championship, held from March 16 to 20 in Tagaytay, Philippines.
In the men’s 150-km road race, International Sports Master B.Maral-Erdene crossed 150 kilometers within a time of 3:13:42 and claimed a silver medal from among 46 contestants.
Australian cyclist Cyrus Monk won the gold medal in the men’s 150-km category and the bronze medal went to Alexander Weifenbach of Germany.
Mongolian cyclist E.Bilguunjargal came in 12th place in the men’s 150-km road race. E.Munkhtulga came in 20th place and E.Bolor-Erdene placed Four Mongolian cyclists coached by State Honored Athlete J.Ulzii-Orshikh competed in the World University Cycling Championship 2016.
The World University Cycling Championship attracted over 120 cyclists from 16 countries.
