Mongolian judoka D.Sumiya has won Mongolia's first medal from the Rio 2016 Olympics, which is currently taking place in Brazil. By winning a silver medal in the women's 57 kg division, D.Sumiya has become the first female judoka from Mongolia to win an Olympic medal. D.Sumiya, who is world number one ranking judoka in her division, lost the final match of the women's 57 kg to Rafaela Silva of Brazil, a gold and silver medalist of the World Championship.
