Officials of the Mongolian National Olympic Committee and Sports Preparation Center of Mongolia left for Brazil to prepare for receiving the Mongolian Olympic team. The Mongolian team is expected hold their Olympic training at the sports complex in Volta Redonda, Brazil, under a contract made with the sports complex. The sports complex prepared a custom bus for the Mongolian Olympic team, which will transport the team during the Rio 2016 Summer Olympic Games. This is the first time that the Mongolian Olympic team has ever received a custom bus, with artwork expressing Mongolian values. With 45 seats, the “Team Mongolia” bus is able to transport the entire 42-athlete of Mongolian Olympic team. The bus is decorated with Mongolian traditional script, horses, and the state flag, designed by Mongol Post Company artist Ch.Bat-Erdene, designer J.Gankhuyag and postage stamp specialist Ts.Adiyadorj. This is also the first time that the Mongolian team has brought along their own chef and nutritionist, Ts.Baigalmaa, to the Olympics. Ts.Baigalmaa is a member of the Mongolian Nutrition Society and she specializes in nutrition and diets for athletes who are in weight training.
