More bus routes changed to improve service

In an effort to enhance public transportation services and ensure safer and more efficient travel for residents of Nalaikh District’s first and sixth khoroos, officials have revised the Kh:4 bus route. As of February 15, the original “Terelj-Nalaikh-Officers’ Palace” route has been modified and shortened to “10 Shar-Terelj”.

Previously, the Kh:4 route was serviced by a single bus under “Zorchigch Teever Tav”, operating only three trips per day, resulting in wait times of up to five hours. The recent adjustment introduces a shorter loop with more frequent departures, significantly improving accessibility for daily commuters. Passengers traveling from Nalaikh to the Officers’ Palace now have the option to transfer to Route Kh:5 “Nalaikh-Officers’ Palace”.

A demographic study of passengers on Route Kh:4 revealed that senior citizens, particularly those using public transportation cards, constitute the largest group of commuters, while children account for the smallest percentage. The revised route is expected to provide a more convenient and efficient transport solution, addressing the needs of Nalaikh residents and reducing travel time for daily commuters.

The adjustment is part of the capital city’s ongoing efforts to optimize public transportation and improve connectivity between key districts, ensuring safer and more reliable transit options for residents.
