On the evening of October 25, a fire broke out in the Shangri-La Centre in the first khoroo of Sukhbaatar District in Ulaanbaatar, prompting swift action by emergency responders. According to the National Emergency Management Agency, the fire began on the third floor of the building, with a report of smoke received at 7:52 p.m.

In response, firefighters and rescue teams from the Firefighting and Rescue Unit No. 10 of Chingeltei District’s Emergency Department were dispatched to the scene. Personnel immediately worked to evacuate residents, ensuring safety while containing the flames. Thanks to their coordinated efforts, the spread of the fire was halted by 8:24 p.m., and the blaze was fully extinguished by 8:55 p.m.

The prompt response helped prevent further damage and ensured the safety of those in the vicinity. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, with authorities urging continued vigilance and cooperation in maintaining fire safety standards across public and residential buildings.
