The opening of Ulaanbaatar Urban Festival-2024 was held on June 6. 11 types of sports such as 3x3 basketball, skateboard, roller skate, BMX bike, cricket, wooden wrestling, cornhole, laser run, functional fitness, frisbee, and pickleball were introduced at the festival, along with a food day. 

Moreover, Mongolia women’s national 3x3 basketball team was declared as the champion for the first time at the FIBA 3x3 Ulaanbaatar Women’s Series 2024, which was kicked off at Sukhbaatar Square on June 6. They achieved a historic victory in front of its loud and supportive home fans who love basketball.

In addition, Taliin Salkhi 2024 international motorcycle festival was jointly organized by the Ulaanbaatar City Tourism Department and “Skulls” motorcycle club on June 8-9. This year, about 450 motorcyclists from China, Russia and South Korea participated in the festival, illustrating their interest in this sport. The number of participants increased by 20 percent from last year. During the festival, there were events such as freestyle motorcycle shows, exhibitions, competitions, fire shows, DJ shows, and circus performances.
