The first Vice President of the Mongolian National Olympic Committee, Ch.Naranbaatar gave the following information about the preparations for the Paris 2024 Olympics. He said, “Less than four months are left before the start of the 33rd Summer Olympic Games. Therefore, our athletes have been training. As of today, 10 sports licenses have been obtained, and competitions for qualifying licenses and collecting points are ongoing”. “The State Committee for Physical Education and Sport and the Mongolian National Olympic Committee are cooperating intensively on plans for the Olympic Games”, says Ch.Naranbaatar.

Because the issue of athletes’ clothing was quite difficult, more than 10,000 citizens voted for the clothing brand. Also, by receiving the votes of more than 300 national team athletes, the Japanese brand “Mizuno” was selected for the Olympics clothes, out of 17 companies. He further explained that, “There was a seven-member working group in the field of clothing for coaches and athletes. For example, a contract was signed by the domestic ‘Michel & Amazonka’ company to provide the clothing for the opening and closing ceremony of the festival. Ceremonial clothes will be in Mongolian style. But the place where the festival will be held will be almost 30 degrees, therefore the clothing needs to be made taking account the temperature”. “Mongolian athletes are hoping for a good time to get more qualifications, collect points, and achieve greater success in the Olympic Games. Our country is working with the goal of obtaining at least 45 rights in 10-12 sports. All 11 sports federations have made proposals to prepare in advance for adapting to the weather and preparing food and drinks. According to this, we are going to go for training in Paris or cities near the edge of Germany in the near future”, said the first vice president of the Mongolian National Olympic Committee.
