The Emergency Department of Dornod Province received a call about a wildfire in Davst Ukhaa which is located 100 kilometers southeast of Matad soum of Dornod Province, at 5:20 p.m. on March 29. The officers of the Emergency Departments of Dornod and Sukhbaatar provinces, the Governor’s Office of Matad soum, employees, and local residents worked to extinguish the fire.

In this regard, NEMA reported that the wildfire that spread in Matad soum of Dornod Province was completely put out at 12:05 a.m. on March 30. It was estimated that around 8,000 hectares of fields were affected by the fire.
