Korean artists Kim Hyun Joong, MC Sniper, and Bloo came to Mongolia to play at “Your Valentine” concert in Ulaanbaatar city on February 17. On this occasion, Minister of Environment and Tourism B.Bat-Erdene met with singer Kim Hyun Joong and Founder of Evandis entertainment Ko Sung Hun. During the meeting, Kim Hyun Joong expressed his willingness to cooperate in organizing joint performances and festivals of artists, in addition to exchanging views on cultural and tourism issues between the two countries. The Founder of Evandis entertainment, Ko Sung Hun was named Tourism Ambassador by the Minister of Environment and Tourism, B.Bat-Erdene for being a bridge between Mongolia and South Korea and for successfully organizing numerous events that expand bilateral cooperation.

Ko Sung Hun said, “As a Korean living in Mongolia, I am happy to bring artists from my country here. It was a difficult task to invite artists to Mongolia, but I am happy that it has become an activity. It is done within the framework of Mongolian and Korean cultural cooperation. Since this is the first concert, if it is successful, we will be able to bring other artists. We hope that through art, the people of the two countries will have an opportunity to better understand each other.”

Singer Kim Hyun Joong said, “It’s my second day in Mongolia. I heard that it’s very cold, but I didn’t feel cold. I didn’t know about Mongolia before. I started to get information last year after watching programs and content where influential people traveled here. I imagined it to be a place with beautiful nature and predominantly rural areas, but when I came to Ulaanbaatar, my opinion changed.” He continued, “It is a great feeling to participate in this concert and appear on the same stage with Mongolian singers. It is not easy to perform abroad, especially to perform together with other artists. I would like to express my gratitude to everyone who gave me this opportunity,” says the singer.

“Your Valentine” concert was held at the Buyant-Ukhaa sports complex by Korean artists as well as Mongolian artists Choijoo, Vandebo, and Gangbay. This is the first art performance of Evandis entertainment, the general organizer of the concert. The organization plans to bring stars to Mongolia to support winter tourism as a tradition every year.

Rapper MC Sniper said about his visit, “I thought of traveling to Mongolia with my family after watching the videos of Koreans who had traveled before. So, I’m happy to come here to play. If I have the opportunity, I will come here in July with my family.” Bloo said, “I watched clips and music videos of Mongolian artists who’ll present their works. When I asked my sister about Mongolia, I heard that they are very friendly people, and they heat stones and eat mutton.”
