Minister of Health S.Chinzorig is visiting the Republic of Buryatia of the Russian Federation. The Minister had a meeting with Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Mikhail Murashko on February 16. The meeting focused on discussing cooperation in the health sector between Mongolia and Russia. Minister S.Chinzorig and Minister Murashko visited the Medical College named after E. A. Radnaev. They also toured the surgical department of the Irkutsk Regional Cancer Center. This visit reflects collaborative efforts between Mongolia and Russia in the health sector, with a specific focus on digital services for citizens and discussions on broader cooperation. The visits to medical institutions signify an interest in exploring and understanding the healthcare infrastructure in the region. During his visit, Minister of Health S.Chinzorig has also acquainted himself with the operation of the “KhurDan” state digital service point in the country. This service point, located at the Consulate General of Mongolia in the capital city, Ulan-Ude, is the 27th center to be opened in 19 countries. The “KhurDan” service point offers more than 467 types of services from 51 government organizations. Over 400 citizens of Mongolia residing in the Republic of Buryatia, Russian Federation, can benefit from the services offered.
