Due to the heavy snowfall and severe weather conditions, the Environmental Department of the Capital City planned to organize a biotechnical event in the green zone of the capital city. Thus, 6,000 kilograms of lake salt and 200 bales of grass and hay will be placed in forests and highland areas for double hoofed animals which are more common in dense forests, mountain and rocky summits, with a frequency of five to seven times. Also, 15 million MNT will be spent on this activity.
When it comes to taking biotechnical measures, it is important to place grass and fodder at the optimal point or area considering the range and location of animals. In addition, the bids of companies that will organize biotechnical measures in the green zone of the capital city in this winter and spring, will be accepted and selected by the Environmental Department of the Capital City until January 19.
