The IBSA Grand Prix Tokyo 2023 for qualifying for the Paris 2024 Paralympics Games was held in Tokyo, Japan on December 4 and 5. The silver medalist of the World Para Judo Championship L.Turuunaa won the gold medal in the women’s 70-kg category and the golden medalist of the Hangzhou-2022 Asian Para Games D.Ganbat won a bronze medal in the men’s +90-kg category. By winning this competition, L.Turuunaa was qualified to participate in the Paris 2024 Paralympics Games. B.Battugs won bronze medals in the -90-kg category.

Moreover, the 2023 World Abilitysport Games is being held in Ratchasima, Thailand on December 2-9. Two athletes and two coaches from Mongolia are participating in the competition in powerlifting and shooting sports. On December 5, G.Ganzorig, who competed in the 10-meter air pistol category under the guidance of the coach of the national team O.Tuguldur, won a bronze medal. G.Ganzorig won gold and bronze medals at the 2022 World Shooting Para Championships.
