On August 3, the Session Organization Department of Parliament reported on lawmakers’ attendance in the spring session.

The regular spring session of Parliament was held from March 15 to July 8, convening for more than 75 days for in connection with the amendment to the Constitution of Mongolia.

In particular, Parliament met 34 times for a total of 317 hours, and 462 issues were discussed and resolved.

Eight legislators, including G.Amartuvshin, T.Ayuursaikhan, Yo.Baatarbileg, B.Bayarsaikhan, D.Ganbat, B.Delgersaikhan, B.Purevdorj and S.Chinzorig, had perfect attendance in the spring session.

A total of 30 lawmakers had missed a plenary session. For instance, legislators Ts.Munkh-Orgil had missed session five times and J.Erdenebat six times, while Prime Minister L.Oyun-Erdene did not attend 23 sessions and took 19 leaves.

Moreover, 16 parliamentarians took sick leave, while 48 legislators took leave for other reasons during the spring session.

During the closing of the spring session, Speaker of Parliament G.Zandanshatar noted that the plenary sessions started on time, and highlighted that it was the most successful session without delays and interruptions in the last 30-year history of Parliament.
