The General Taxation Department announced individuals and companies that paid the most taxes in 2020 and contributed to national development amid the pandemic on May 10.
The department annually recognizes top taxpayers as part of Taxpayers’ Day, observed on the second week of every May. Taxes are one of the largest contributors to the fiscal revenue. Last year, 5.4 trillion MNT was collected through taxes, making up more than half of the total revenue to the government, according to B.Zayabal, head of the General Taxation Department.
By sector, companies engaged in mining and quarrying, financial services and insurance managed to increase their tax payments in 2020, while construction companies managed to achieve their normal rate despite the pandemic. Tax relief were offered to sectors most affected by the pandemic throughout 2020 in accordance with the law.
The department announced taxpayers who paid the most taxes, earned the highest profit and maintained the most jobs this year. B.Zayabal emphasized that entities were awarded based on their size (large, medium, small and micro) in compliance with the new Package Tax Law.

Large: Skynetworks LLC, Mongol Post LLC, Niseech LLC, Admon Print LLC, and MTCh LLC.
Medium: Barilga Architecture Corporation LLC, Interactive BI LLC, Thermo-Tech LLC, Yusun Od Food International, and Manba Datsan Traditional Medicine Training Center.
Small: Energy Inpair LLC, DBIS JSC, Ariutgal Trade LLC, Sod Khan Travel LLC, and Hermes Center JSC.
Micro: Lemon Farm LLC, Argamjintsetseg Locally-Owned Industry, EZKh Trade LLC, Bayansuudal Shuteen LLC, and Dadalbuudai LLC
