Three Mongolian athletes participated in the World Senior Ski Championships in Toronto, Italy. Led by President of Mongolian Ski Masters Federation N.Oyunchimeg, Mongolian athletes made a great achievement by bringing two medals from the World Championships on their first time at the event. Athlete L.Altantsetseg claimed a silver medal by the total score of three races – 500 m, 1,000 m and 1,500 m – in the age category of 60-64. In the same distance, N.Erdenetuya seized bronze medal in the age category of 54-59. A total number of 250 skiers from 17 countries took part in the championships. More than half of participants had prior experience from the World Championships and Olympics.
