The National Statistics Office determined a new minimum standard of living on February 1, which is slightly higher than 2017’s.
The minimum standard of living is a minimum entitlement to food, clothing and housing at an adequate level. It is highest in Ulaanbaatar, set at 198,600 MNT, and lowest in eastern regions, set at 174,000 MNT.
